New Talent
My two year old has discovered a new talent. It turns out she is very perceptive when looking at my face to decide what mood I’m in. Lately because of a personal family matter I have not been in a great mood at home since it is the only place I can let my external guard down. Well my daughter told me that I was sad a few times and then one day decided to tell me I was happy. I said no Abby Daddy’s sad and she responded frankly with “No Daddy Happy!” and she was right I was happy. She now has discovered that she can make me happy by saying “Daddy Happy.” This isn’t always a good thing since when I had to tell her no firmly the other day, she responded with Daddy happy and her cute smile, but it’s incredible to me that she wants all of us to be happy so she uses it on all of us including her big sister. I wonder if it would work from adult to adult. I guess it does since that’s what most success speakers do. Ha I have a guru on my hands.
